Lindsay Lohan Has Confirmed She Failed A Court-mandated Drug Test

The shocking admission — made via Lohan’s Twitter account Friday night — comes a little less than a month after the actress was released from UCLA Medical Center, where she had been receiving rehab treatment following 13 days in jail for violating her DUI probation.The troubled star took to her Twitter account just before 10 PM on Friday evening, to address the issue after news of the failed drug test broke on Friday afternoon.

“Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result,” she Tweeted.Lohan went on to Tweet that she knows she made a mistake, and is aware of the potential punishment she may incur due to her behavior.“This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences,” she wrote.

“I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard, but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful….Thank you all!!!”
